client formats time remaining in decimal minutes

Bug Description
I was recently installing a large snap and noticed (eventually; it took me a while to realize what it was doing) that the client formatted the time left as decimal minutes, e.g. "10.4m", which is rather strange. Later in the download it switched to a more typical format, e.g "6m55s". Please consider using this style in all circumstances.
