Bug Description

General Description:

I have a multi-screen Lubuntu setup, which I am configuring using xrandr. I have tried to the best of my ability to place the taskbar/program menu/etc on the middle screen, which I have configured as the primary monitor, but instead it is always placed on the left monitor (despite trying many combinations of --left-of / --right-of as xandr options).

1) Release
Description: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS
Release: 18.04

2) Package
LXQt?
lxqt:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 25
  Version table:
     25 500
        500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages

3) Expect taskbar/program menu to appear on monitor marked as "primary"

4) Instead, taskbar/program menu always appears on left-most monitor

Please provide the exact steps one would need to take to reproduce this bug, including the actual monitor layout.

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we could close it and convert it to a question in the support tracker.

We understand the difficulties you are facing, but it is better to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs.

I haven't closed it due to Walter's prior comment, but Rob you listed LXQt in your initial text, but Lubuntu 18.04 LTS uses LXDE by default (LXQt is default for 18.10 and later).

I suggest you clarify which DEsktop you are using please.

We, or yourself can convert this to a question if more appropriate.
