Upstream stable 4.4.169 changed the permissions on /proc/timer_list so the test needs to be updated.

Ubuntu Kernel Bot (ubuntu-kernel-bot) wrote : Missing required logs.

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel) please enter the following command in a terminal window:

apport-collect 1818170

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

If, due to the nature of the issue you have encountered, you are unable to run this command, please add a comment stating that fact and change the bug status to 'Confirmed'.

This change has been made by an automated script, maintained by the Ubuntu Kernel Team.

This is not a kernel issue, so marking the linux task as invalid and adding project ubuntu-kernel-tests.

Changed in linux (Ubuntu):
status: Incomplete → Invalid

I have that bug, i/o screenlet won't run because of insufficient permission. Will it be fixed in the 4.4.0-143 kernel?

This was an intentional change:

https://lkml.org/lkml/2018/12/20/346

The file /proc/timer_list may be removed in the future:
