Bug Description

Binary package hint: mediawiki

Hi!

After upgrading to hardy's mediawiki 1:1.11.0-2, I noticed php errors on my wiki when editing a page.
Turns out, it is this bug: http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11292

This means I can't upgrade to hardy because there is currently no mediawiki version with working postgresql support in hardy and I would lose my wiki. mediawiki1.10 from gutsy works with postgresql.

Disregard - my comment is regarding a different breaker for PostgreSQL support, which is Postgres 8.3 + MediaWiki <1.12.0.

It is fixed in 1.12.0 (which is in intrepid 8.10). From the release-notes:
* (bug 11292) Fixed unserialize errors with Postgres by creating special Blob object.
