Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-3-generic

Ubuntu Hardy development version, Lenovo N100 3000 laptop.

iwl3945 looks loaded in dmesg, and restricted-manager reports ipw3945 to be installed, though not active. There's no way to bring it active, and restricted-manager reports:
modinfo: could not find module ipw3945
on startup. Thus the WLAN does not work at all.

After today's update of linux-restricted-modules WLAN started working fine, but the WLAN LED doesn't switch on (it did on 7.10).
