Bug Description
Binary package hint: wget
Summary:
The wget man page contains a sentence that appears to have been truncated.
Actual behaviour:
The description of the option --no-proxy reads:
--no-proxy
Don’t use proxies, even if the appropriate *_proxy environment variable is defined.
For more information about the use of proxies with Wget,
It is my belief that the documentation for this option has been truncated.
Expected behaviour:
I expect to see the rest of the sentence after the , character in the second sentence described above.
System details:
Ubuntu 7.10 i386
wget 1.10.2-3ubuntu1

The Debian stable, testing, and unstable binaries as provided at http:// packages. debian. org/{etch, testing, unstable} /i386/wget/ download all feature the bug that I have reported. This can be observed in the data.tar. gz/usr/ share/man/ man1/wget. 1.tar.gz/ wget.1 file inside the .deb file that is available for download.
If you build the source as provided at http:// ftp.gnu. org/gnu/ wget/wget- 1.10.2. tar.gz then the doc/wget.1 file also features the bug that I have reported.
