Bug Description

mono-tools 1.2.6-1ubuntu1 doesn't build in hardy anymore:

checking for mcs... /usr/bin/mcs
checking for gmcs... /usr/bin/gmcs
checking for mono... /usr/bin/mono
checking for resgen... no
configure: error: resgen not found in /usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 1

This was fixed in mono-tools 1.2.6-2.

New changelog entries:

mono-tools (1.2.6-2ubuntu1) hardy; urgency=low

  * Merge from debian unstable, remaining changes:
    - debian/patches/03_mozilla-home.dpatch:
      + Use firefox instead of xulrunner.
    - debian/control:
      + Set Ubuntu Mono Team as Maintainer.

mono-tools (1.2.6-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * debian/control:
    + Build depend on mono-1.0-devel for resgen to fix FTBFS (Closes: #458693).

    + Update location (Closes: #449755).

I'm having a similar problem. I'm following this guide:
 http://www.ifolder.com/index.php/HowTo:iFolder_Enterprise_Server_on_Ubuntu_6.10

and when executing:
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --with-simiasdatadir=/var/lib/simias --sysconfdir=/etc --with-simiaslogdir=/var/log/simias --enable-debug

I get:
checking for mcs... mcs
checking for resgen... no
configure: error: no resource generator : resgen not found

Please take a look at the complete autogen.sh output shown into the attachment.
