failed to file bug on launchpad

It is annoying when I try to file a bugreport and get back an error instead, not the first time this happened:

This is because you entered the binary package name "linux-image-4.18.0-14-generic" into a field that actually (unclearly) wants a *source* package name. Either use the search button next to that field, which should present you with the ability to select "linux" (the source package that produces that binary package), or just enter "linux" directly.

Of course, this is a detail that users shouldn't have to care about, and the fact that we currently fail if users get it wrong is bug 1635118.
