Binary package hint: fontconfig

I have just installed Hardy alpha-2 CD 64 bits, and then updated the system.
While updating with Synaptic, I have seen some errors during fontconfig-config setup.

I am not even sure this is linked to fontconfig-config.

what is the matter? what is in this files? which cannot be downloaded from network? internet connection presents, checked twice

sorry, forgot to add - I acquire this problem trying to update with sudo update-manager -d to ALPHA-3
and because of this packet half the system did not install correctly

I think the scrollkeeper errors may be from a different problem than the I/O errors. See bug #158901, bug #175971, bug #186368, and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3693349

I am encountered similar problems on Ubuntu 7.10 (x86) during 'apt-get upgrade', today (Apr. 03). Here's a part of the error massages I saw:

The workaround described in the forum thread linked to by a7x (see above) does the job. Problem seems to be resolved on my machine.
