Bug Description
The pathfolders put into the compiz executable are wrong. In facts:
COMPIZ_BIN_PATH is set to /usr/local/bin but the default package installs the compiz file in /usr/bin
Same with the plugin pathname, which is set to /usr/local/lib instead of /usr/lib
Due to this issue, Compiz fails to start and exits with the following message:
/usr/bin/compiz: 378: /usr/local/

This is not true, we set COMPIZ_BIN_PATH, PLUGIN_PATH, and COMPIZ_NAME in /etc/xdg/ compiz/ compiz- manager which overrides the values in /usr/bin/compiz. You've apparently either installed compiz from another location (not Ubuntu) or managed to delete this file.
