Still wayv will not work in usr account

Hello guys,
 Well the same problem still exists even though i was contacted once saying this was fixed.
Wayv, systemic gesture recognition application, does NOT work on ubuntu in the user account.
If an root account is created there is not problem at all even with compiz fusion running , however it refuses to intiate in the user account. There are no errors.
I have been reporting this for over a year now, and the last contact I had said , as I mentioned, that this was fixed and it most definitly is not fixed.
The developer expressly told me that there should be no problem with this and it is puzzling that it ONLY works as root in a root account. It also doesn't work by starting wayv as root in a user acoount .

Please see what the problem is... it was not solved when I was told it was

Is this symptom still reproducible in a live cd of 8.10?
