Resizing and saving image

While resizing a small image and saved Pinta crashed immediately.
This happens several times, sending crash rapport is failing.

I can't reproduce this - can you describe the steps to reproduce or a crash log?

I also can't replicate this. Maybe this is just a Mono problem and it seams to bug reporter it crashes using resizing, but actually there are other ways to crash Pinta because of old Mono on Ubuntu.

May I suggest to update Mono following steps on:
https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/#download-lin

Also @Pollewops, can you post what is your Linux distro name and version? From crash.jpg file in #1 it looks like some version of Ubuntu.

Because the many crashes I removed Pinta. The distro I use Xubuntu 18.0.4
I didn 't try it on Xubuntu 2.0
What is the mono repository ?

The Mono repository installs an updated version of the runtime environment that Pinta requires. I suspect this is a duplicate of 1786822 since that issue can cause a lot of random crashes.

I installed the Mono repository (allready installed but updated).
Installed Pinta again and the problem seems so be solved.
Tryed the rectangle tool > copy / paste as new image: no crashes.
