Happened while upgrading via apt.
apport did not upgrade, gave a segmentation fault.

Now, the OS (Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS) does not even boot sometimes.

There was a segfault w/ python2.7 and its not actually an issue with apport. From dmesg:
