[wayland] Apps button disappeared after switching from portrait to landscape mode

Bug Description
As described above. I first rotated my laptop to work with it in portrait mode. When I switched back to landscape mode, the Gnome Shell button was gone. If I switch back to portrait mode the button is visible again.
I will attach a screenshot to better explain what I mean.
