Bug Description

Use peer DNS setting incorrectly overwrites /etc/resolv.conf

This is reported to upstream:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=423883

Upstream responded that this is Ubuntu specific bug.

This bug is valid for Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
