Hi,

on the netapp driver I can configure vserver CIFS with security service type active directory.

This fails sometimes, because determining AD DC via DNS can take too long or errors on a long list of DCs, ergo share server creation fails.

Optionally I want to configure a preferred DC to stabilize this
