Bug Description
I had some error while installing the drivers for Nvidia, so when i gave the command to remove fully and reinstall as `sudo apt remove nvidia-*`
I get the error as:
`.
.
.
Package 'nvidia-
Package 'nvidia-
Package 'nvidia-
Package 'nvidia-
Package 'nvidia-
Package 'nvidia-
Package 'nvidia-
Package 'nvidia-
You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libnvidia-ifr1-390 : Depends: libnvidia-gl-390 but it is not going to be installed
libnvidia-
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt --fix-broken install' with no packages (or specify a solution).`
Even when i typed `sudo apt --fix-broken install`
I get the error as:
`diversion of /usr/lib/
dpkg-divert: error: mismatch on package
when removing 'diversion of /usr/lib/
found 'diversion of /usr/lib/
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/
new libnvidia-
Preparing to unpack .../libnvidia-
diversion of /usr/lib/
dpkg-divert: error: mismatch on package
when removing 'diversion of /usr/lib/
found 'diversion of /usr/lib/
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/
new libnvidia-
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/
/var/cache/
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)`
How do i solve this issue..??
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.
Thank you.
