Hi, thanks for the bug report. Can you attach the original svg that gives the error? Is this bug only present when you export to png, or is it visible on screen as well? What operating system are you running?

Ideally, it would be great if you could also give exact steps that reproduce the bug. I can't reproduce it myself using the gaussian blur filter on a rotated rectangle...

Debian GNU/Linux (sid), Inkscape SVN compile (Jan 4 2008).

Yes, this visible on screen or export to png.

Use rectangle, apply gaussian blur and rotated (use ctrl for angle 45º).

Confirmed jaggies with user-supplied SVG. This happens even with gaussian blur quality set to 'highest' in Inkscape Preferences... Not sure what the importance ought to be...

Setting it to medium importance.
I milestoned it, we could not let something like that in 0.46 stable release
