Bug Description

The option is enabled in Fedora and their feedback seems good so far, we would like to get that one enabled in Ubuntu as well

CONFIG_SND_HDA_POWER_SAVE_DEFAULT=1

(can be disabled at boot using snd_hda_intel.power_save=0 and there is a list of cards which don't work well and opt out on https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/tree/sound/pci/hda/hda_intel.c)
