ISBN search in MARC Federated Search doesn't strip out the tab character

In Evergreen 3.1.2. Steps to reproduce:
* Go to Acquisitions > MARC Federated Search
* Do an ISBN search that you know will be successful (e.g. search for ISBN 1565650131 in the Library of Congress source)
* Note that a result comes up
* Copy/paste the ISBN into a text editor
* In your text editor, add the tab character either before or after the ISBN
* Copy/paste the ISBN with tab character into MARC Federated Search
* Note that this search doesn't bring back any results.

This is problematic, since when users copy/paste ISBNs into Evergreen, those ISBNs sometimes bring tab characters along with them.
