"proposed" is enabled by default on bionic server-live amd64 daily images

'proposed' is enabled by default on bionic server-live amd64 daily images via /etc/apt/sources.list.d/proposed.list. This is unexpected.

These images were downloaded at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/bionic/daily-live/current/bionic-live-server-amd64.iso
I tested two copies:

Why are you using a development image used for validating SRUs? This image is specifically built and tested to ensure that SRUs between point-releases, do not regress the installer media and it's not meant for production or general use. This has never been the case.

To install Ubuntu please use https://www.ubuntu.com/download which eventually points at latest Bionic point release from http://releases.ubuntu.com/bionic/

`daily` are not releases, and they are not validated, tested, and may not contain what you expect, and do break things.

Please be responsible and used released media only.

I don't know why the reporter was using a daily image of an lts stable release, but I would use it if I wanted to save time applying updates, just the same way I use the "daily" stream for other sources of installation like lxd or maas. To find proposed enabled on the installed system was unexpected to me.

I'm not 'validating SRUs' per se, I just use the daily builds (I am aware these are unsupported, I was not aware these can come with non release configurations) to overcome some of the (sometime serious) issues the released 18.04.1 server-live installer has, some of which have thankfully since been fixed (but others remain).

If you are saying that the daily images are expected to break and no bugs should be reported about them then I guess it would help to just add a README file saying so to the directory they're placed in, or to add a note to the already existing HTML header + footer at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/bionic/daily-live/current/ (which so far does not mention that they're likely to be broken at all).
