Bug Description

Binary package hint: bluez-gnome

Today I was checking the source package for bluez-gnome and I saw there are 3 apps which aren't included in the ubuntu version?
It's bluetooth-proximity, bluetooth-sendto, and bluetooth-wizard.

They're described in here: <http://wiki.bluez.org/wiki/UsingBluez>

Also, would it be possible to update the package on hardy to 0.15?

Regards,
Fabio

These applications are not ready for mainline right now. The bluez-gnome upstream _doesn't_ install these on purpose.

Would be nice to have bluetooth-sendto built to replace gnome-obex-send removed from gnome-bluetooth-0.11.0.

I don't know if this is a showstopper for ubuntu 8.04

I think we can close this bug, as this is not a real problem.

bluetooth-sendto is available in hardy now and as Marcel mentions other apps are not ready for mainline.
