Bug Description
After having a hard time to enable MIDI output (aka the "MIDI for lights" script) from Mixxx (hint: it is only available in --developer mode) I think it might make sense to add an option for this to the preferences.
My suggestion is to add a new root entry to the preferences after "Controllers" called "MIDI output", "MIDI visualization output" or "MIDI through". It could show a page similar to "Controllers" with a checkbox "Enable MIDI output from Mixxx (to external applications)" and a couple of hints / instructions and a link to https:/
