Bug Description
when i watch local videos that are on my pc, they look pixelated and red, orange, and purple, I expected it to show my movie normally, I have installed restricted extras. My Graphics card is an rx580 8gb and cpu is an 8700k (integrated graphics might have something to do with it) I have tried opening the same video files on linux mint 19 Tara and have had no issues. and when i try openning them in ubuntu on wayland it just shows a blank screen and videos freezes. I am having these issues on 18.10
Edit: videos work fine on VLC, so that means the default video player is broken? because I moved from ubuntu 18.04 to LM 19 because videos didn't work at all even on VLC, VlC just crashed and games didn't load even after fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04, so I decided to move to LM 19, and after the new Ubuntu update I decided to install Ubuntu 18.10 this time as a secondary OS beside LM 19 to check if it still has that issue and once I saw that videos looked glitched in the default video player I automatically thought It would have the other issues too because I thought they were all related.
