Bug Description
Fonts and typography are very important design tools. Therefore I miss a possibility to access fonts outside the Windows font folder. I'm thinking of a kind of directory access like it's been possible with Gimp for years - and for example Blender doesn't care, as long as you control any font folder.
With FontBase there are so many fonts including Google Fonts that can be accessed without having to install them classically. Here Inkscape loses a lot of potential.
My suggestion would be to create a corresponding, contemporary possibility for more design freedom.
