Bug Description
A non existent audio cd gets automatically mounted. Further as the setting
Removable Drives and Media Preferences - Audio CD Discs - Play audio cd when inserted is set to Sound Juicer,
Sound Juicer automatically starts and tries to play this CD. However, an error message is not displayed.
The following is a snippet of the /var/log/kern.log
Jan 2 19:02:26 ashin-desktop kernel: [ 1836.016000] ide: failed opcode was: unknown
Jan 2 19:02:26 ashin-desktop kernel: [ 1836.016000] hdc: drive not ready for command
Jan 2 19:02:26 ashin-desktop kernel: [ 1836.016000] hdc: status error: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest }
This error is repeatedly logged.
Also, after this if a valid / existent DVD / CD with data is inserted, the system fails to automount it.
Unmounting from bash was not attempted due to lack of knowledge of the correct command on my part.
The following is the output of mount

Hello, just to say I have exactly the same issue with my system:
[285169.836000] ide: failed opcode was: unknown
[285169.836000] hdc: drive not ready for command
[285169.836000] hdc: status error: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest }
taking 60Mo of logs everyday :-)
and the same user experience which is "if a valid / existent DVD / CD with data is inserted, the system fails to automount it"
