When changing language in maybe-ubiquity, gnome-shell isn't updated to display the correct language

Bug Description

1. Boot live CD, don't press any key
2. In maybe-ubiquity, choose a language != English
-> SGNOME Shell menus are still is English "Wired connection" for instance, or the date in the panel. Same when configuring WIFI network.
3. Even clicking on the next step ("Install Ubuntu"), the Shell stays in English.

Right unsure what ubiquity can do there out of restarting gnome-shell (or does reloading would be enough?) which would lead to flicker
