Bug Description

I've downloaded the 18.04 server ISO and loaded it to a USB stick using Yumi multi-boot. I'm attempting to install to another USB drive and it fails. Sorry about the photo, I'm not sure how to get the full log saved as a text file. The first error is:

Running command ['unshare', '--fork', '--pid', '--', 'chroot', '/target', 'lsb_release', '--all']
chroot: failed to run command 'lsb_release": No such file or directory

After that are many more errors. See attached photo. Let me know what other information is needed to diagnose.

Bueller?

I tried again today with 18.04.1 and it's the same problem. I'm also unable to get to a virtual terminal because it says "Authentication failure".

This looks like an issue with the installer. I've added the package to this bug.
