Could you please update the ubuntu package kmymoney ?
A few nasty bugs habe been fixed in the meantime like this one:

I've just come across this bug whilst hunting for assistance with the scheduled transaction bug. Having failed to find the build anywhere and with dependency issues for the usual suspects I've built it on a PPA using the Debian stable code with no changes. Just noting here in case it is of use to anyone given the "no rolling release" policy.
