Bug Description

On my thinkpad T43p I get my battery reported twice since upgrading to gutsy.

Hardware description is available in the wiki at:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/ThinkpadT43p-2668?highlight=%28t43p%29

How can I help diagnose the problem?

On my Dell notebook, the battery is found twice too - so I think it's not a problem of kpowersave or kde-guidance, but of hal.

In guidance, I see three batteries, whereas battery number 2 is not present. It even shows me three CPU cores, but my CPU only has two (Intel Core 2 Duo).

See attached screenshot.

Thanks for report. This is known regression and HAL (2ith 2.6.24 kernel) and it was already reported. HAL developers are alreadyworking on the proper fix.
