Transferring items and vol/items does not maintain stat cats

When an item is transferred, either on its own or with its volume, any assigned stat cats are not maintained. In their destination location, transferred items have stat cats reset to <NONE>

This means catalogers would have to edit the items after transfer and would negatively impact work flow.

Those items not corrected would no longer be counted in those statistical categories.

We're seeing this in 3.1.4 but only when items are transferred on their own. When an item and volume are transferred together the stat cat values are displaying for us as expected.

I checked again in 3.0.2 in case I missed somethinh and it did not maintain the stat cats.

I'm seeing what Jennifer reported: the stat cat values are retained if I select the option to "Transfer Volumes to Previously Marked Destination;" if I select the option to "Transfer Items to Previously Marked Destination," the stat cat values are lost.

Also seeing in 3.2 beta 1 as others have reported -- transferring vol and item maintains stat cats. Transferring just an item does not

I don't see how the item-only transfer was ever working differently in the XUL client, based on a reading of the code. In any case, here is a branch that protects stat cats in the same way that parts are protected during simple item transfer:
