Subtitle editor crash when opening an ssa file

Bug Description

Binary package hint: subtitleeditor

I was opening a ssa flie when subtitle editor crashed. ssa file has worked before (it was 1 month ago i used subtitle editor) but since 1 week, it doesn't.

I have the same problem. It just crashes when I want to open a .srt file.
I use Ubuntu 8.04, Subtitle Editor 0.20.0

In Ubuntu 7.10 there were no problems... It is very pity.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
