mediathekview doesn't start. On the commandline, the following messages appear:

This might be also a Java bug; there are various bug reports with java.awt.AWTError. However, the corresponding solutions like editing java properties or re-installing the JRE have not worked for me.

Addedum: The described problem appears when using the Ubuntu default java (openjdk 10.0.2). When using the older 1.8.0_181, everything works as expected.
