translation missing on window tool tips

Bug Description

When you point to the maximize, minimize and close buttons on every window a tool tip appears. I am using a full localized polish version of ubuntu, but the tools tips appear in english

I am using Ubuntu 7.10 with Gnome.

I would be happy to translate it myself so will have a look at the translation tool to see if I can help.

Hi!

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy with Gnome.

Same mistake but with the German language. The tooltips on maximize, minimize and close are english.

BUT: If i DON'T use Compiz, the translation will displayed correctly. I think it's an error in Compiz.
