Bug Description
Hello!
I am not sure if this bug/problem must be filed in ubuntu-linux bugzilla or Malone or mozilla ?
Anyway, while translating strings in devanagari (marathi, sanskrit and hindi use the same script) using Rosetta, the glyphs for U+093F vowel was not rendering properly.
I had to temporarily stop translating as it leads to spelling mistakes and also the meaning of the word changes drastically.
After going through many lists for UTF-8, we identified Mozilla, Pango and Ubuntu. Translators using FC4 and KDE seem to have perfect display for all the characters.
I am also not sure if this display problem is just viewed on my Ubuntu system or with all types of Linux distros.
Thanks.

If what is being referred to is the mozilla only issue. yes it's a mozilla only problem in ubuntu as ubuntu provides indic-enabled build for firefox. but that's not the case with mozilla.
I am not sure what is happening upstream.. but I think indic build on either of them makes a lot of sense. But from what I can see, the indic enabled build is slower than the official builds.
