Fails to manage favourite apps

This may be a one-off since i started on 16.04rc then reverted to 15.04 stable. I had to manually download & pkcon open-store itself in order to refresh my apps to the correct versions. Since then UT-TweakTool allows me to add up to 12 apps to favorites, but scrolling down in the tool for more, results in a sudden freeze. Then the tool crashes back to the main scope. edit: I have just found another app which actually complains about being installed on the wrong version. I will investigate further but it looks like the bug is in OpenStore sometimes downloading Vivid and sometimes Xenial apps after a reversion to an earlier OS.

further edit: It seems my /opt folder has a mixture of apps from vivid and xenial. Unfortunately there is no obvious way to determine which are which other than reading all the .click manifests. Perhaps as an enhancement request, UTTweak could remember which particular file it was trying to read and include this in the log file rather than just stating error:Could not add child element to parent element because the types are incorrect

final edit:
having removed all xenial apps has removed the problem, so technically there is no bug in UTTweakTool. Above enhancement request still stands please to help future debugging.
