Streaming with PVR card, bitrate doesn't work

Binary package hint: vlc

when using the vlc streaming from an hardware mpeg card hauppauge pvr-350 (like written in the vlc howto), the setting of the bitrate doesn't work.

Hi, you reported this bug a while ago. Is this still an issue for you? Have you tried to reproduce the bug with the latest Ubuntu Intrepid? Or Hardy?
