Bug Description

On MAAS environments managed by multiple people, it would be very handy to be able to see the latest changes tracked in a "revision" (or "change history") section. Examples of this is if several nodes were deployed at $TIMESTAMP1 and the MTU size of one of the subnets was changed at $TIMESTAMP2 (where $T2 > $T1).

Ideally, such revision history would also track changes done via CLI, not only UI.

Possible items to keep track of:
1) user settings have changed (new ssh keys imported, proxy location, dns, kernel cmdline...)
2) general settings affecting nodes (zones, networks, spaces, vlans, mtu sizes, static ip range defined...)
3) nodes settings (interface or storage layout change)

Thank you.

Hi Alvaro,

Are you asking for UI for this or are you asking for the feature itself?

Have you seen https://docs.maas.io/2.4/en/manage-audit-events

Hi Andres,

I knew about the audit events, but I thought those only tracked changes on the user settings, not on any other part (ie. region/rack related). The UI request is to avoid ssh'ing into the node to learn about changes (we generally manage API requests from the same node(s) maas is running on).
