Hello,
I see this message that appear :
xHCI host controller not responding, assume dead
HC died; cleaning up
There is a patch available that is included in 4.18 but it would be nice, if it's possible, if it could be included in current Ubuntu kernel.

Note that it looks like it depends on commit bcaa9d5c5900 ("xhci: Create new structures to store xhci port information") at least, which is a non-trivial patch.

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel) please enter the following command in a terminal window:
apport-collect 1784921
and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.
