Is this pull request for our development release(Disco/19.04)? If so, not a big issue. However, these amount of changes would require a justification to get into a stable release.

Lets pull into 19.04, which will naturally make it's way into 18.04.3 HWE in due course.
Requirement for additional justification for SRU'ing into an earlier release noted.
Thanks, Andy.

The changes in the link were included in 4.17-rc1 upstream and thus are already included in cosmic. Based on this I'm marking the development task fix released.
