Bug Description

X server crashes suddenly and unexpected. This happened now for several times under different conditions (different programs running, not always Firefox [this was discussed as one possible reason]). I've got an Intel 915 graphic-card and Ubuntu 7.10

See also Bug #140554, reported from another user. Unfortunately the launchpad machine does not allow me to add my report to this bug, it suggests to add my report to other bug reports, which obviously are not the same than mine.
