Bug Description
It may make sense to rename the byov.conf file to .byov.conf, so it is not necessarily as visible to end users. This would be consistent with e.g. .gitlab-ci.yml and .travis.yml files that other CIs use.
Or perhaps allow both names, to allow users to choose?
(Note the "may" in the sentence above - I am not fully convinced myself)
