Bug Description
Ubuntu's version of gnuplot is not complied with readline=gnu, nor with history list, for licensing reasons. But filename completion, as well as ctrl+left arrow etc is really essential for a reasonable comfort of use.
I need to recompile gnuplot-nox at each iteration of ubuntu. Since this problem is due to licensing problem, and very a annoying one, and regarding data (media...), gnuplot is an ideal candidate for inclusion in medibuntu.
Thanks for any help in that matter.
Damien

It might be harder than I thought, 'cause linking gnuplot to the gnu readline will be a gpl violation. For the history list, it looks like it is enabled by default, are you sure it's disabled and do you know why?
