Bug Description
I have trouble imagining I am the first person to report this, but I did not (quickly) find a duplicate. When only one version of Qt is installed, can qtchooser select it automatically? E.g. when I start linguist and only have Qt5 installed, could it start Qt5 Linguist?

UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
Unfortunately qtchooser upstream rejected this proposal. There is only a limited set of tools for which it will fall back to any installed version.
For the rest of tools, we recommend to install qt5-default package which will make qtchooser always use Qt 5 tools by default.
