Bug Description
With the roll out of Xubuntu 18.04 (Bionic Beaver), devs decided to replace the original gnome-calculator with mate-calc.
Using mate-calc, user will notice that the basic financial mode (so calculating) does work. However, contrary to gnome-calculator the "immediate" conversion of (the selected) currencies does not work.
Concerns: mate-calc
Version: 1.20.1
P.S. On a side note: the "history" window with previous calculations, which is present in gnome-calculator, but not in mate-calc, is missed dearly.
