Bug Description

I'm running Ubuntu MATE on the Entroware Triton, which uses Intel graphics.

I've recently run the last set of updates (on 4th July 2018) and now when I boot up, I get a blank screen where the login screen should be. If I press the power button, the system shuts down cleanly.

I can rectify the issue if I boot selecting the previous kernel from grub which is 4.15.0-23-generic.

Ups my bad. The problem persists with the new kernel updates in 18.04?

I tried booting into kernel 4.15.0-36 generic. Unfortunately my display is permanently dim and the WIFI isn't being picked up.

Apologies for the delayed response. It seems after upgrades the problem has become full resolved.
