Bug Description

I have this issue with starbucks wifi, and my university public wifi when trying to connect via the guest network. The workaround linked below as detailed by Stepan works to fix the problem at both locations.

I just experienced the same problem on Ubuntu 20.04 at a Best Western hotel in London.

It's kind of a dealbreaker if you're travelling and need to work, so would be good to have it fixed.
