thunderbird doesn't delete local mails

Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Since I upgraded to Gutsy I have the following problem with Mozilla Thunderbird:

I cannot delete/move mails that are in my "local folders'. These mails are downloaded from POP accounts.

I can delete/move mails in these folders after I restarted Thunderbird.

This does not happen with IMAP or newsgroup accounts.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?

I am unable to reproduce in tbird versions 2.0.0.18 and 3.0 beta1. Im closing this bug due to lack of information and unsupported Ubuntu version. If you are able to reproduce this with new profile and with 8.04 or 8.10 using version 2.0.0.18 please reopen bug with the information as updated.
