Bug Description

From https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-server/2018-June/007716.html:

"""
We run a bunch of virtual ubuntu servers 16.04 on a kvm/ovirt infrastructure and have ovirt-guest-agent 1.0.11.3-1.1 installed inside the guests.
Since we updated ovirt to version 4.2 the guest-agents fail to start. It seems that we ran into this issue:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1455922
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=863806

As far as I understand this issue is fixed in ovirt-guest-agent version 1.0.13.
Is there any hope that there will be an update to 1.0.13 from the ubuntu xenial repositories?

Versiony of >=Artful already got this update.
So this is about SRU thought only.

One would have to evaluate if 1.0.13 is a fix only release and/or if the needed fix can be isolated.

There is no trivially identifiable "this is the fix" that could be backported for the SRU [1] policy.

This might need a full backport, maybe to avoid SRU conflicts for other users via https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports but since this is a universe package this needs community engagement or some serious bump in severity I'd think.
