Bug Description

Binary package hint: enigmail

Hi

I'm using Ubuntu Gutsy with Thunderbird and Enigmail install from the Gutsy repos:

mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail 2:0.95.0-0ubuntu4
thunderbird 2.0.0.8~pre071022+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.7.10
enigmail 2:0.95.0-0ubuntu4

I have a number of keys for a number of email accounts. For one account I have to send emails at an automated system signed by a specific key, however the per recipient rules do not seem to work as the email gets signed by the key determined by the email address identity no matter what. Instead I have to change the account settings to use a specific key while I compose and send the email and then revert back to using the key from the email address identity. I will screenshot the settings and the relevent Thunderbird dialogs to ensure that I am not being an idiot, these will be attached below, however, it appears that I can't take a screenshot while the passphrase dialog is open, so you'll have to take my word for it that it signs with the wrong key and my automated system returns me an error regarding the key.

Nudge :)

If there is anything I can do to help diagnose this please update the bug asking for what you need. If I am misunderstanding the the way the application should work (I did read the manual), please mark the bug invalid :)

As it happens I won't need to use multiple keys for a single account in this way soon and the problem won't affect me any more.
